Insulin Pump Program

The Insulin Pump Program was started in 1980 and has been a very successful initiative. There are over 1,500 people who have started pump therapy to-date. There are three follow up classes: Insulin Pump Mechanics, Insulin Pump Patterns and Insulin Pump Infusion Sets. These three programs provide enhanced knowledge and understanding of diabetes management technology. In 2009, we began the Continuous Glucose Sensor Program.

A free insulin pump and continuous glucose monitor information session is held the first Wednesday of every month at 12:00pm noon located at OSU CarePoint East. Call 614-688-6251 to register.

The pump program requires a referral by a physician from the OSU Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism.
