The Ohio State University Medical Center’s Diabetes Research Center (DRC), is dedicated to advancing diabetes research, education and patient care. Through our innovative research using personalized health care, we are working toward prevention, and ultimately the cure, of type 1 and type 2 diabetes. Our vision is to create a world in which diabetes does not exist.
Our Center’s research team has been a leader in improving patient outcomes by using advances in medicine to deliver the most effective treatments that are personalized to the individual patients’ needs. We have been at the forefront of developing different modes of insulin delivery and islet cell implantation devices, as well as ways to improve methods of prevention and management of diabetes.
