Insulin Pump Program

The Insulin Pump Program was started 25 years ago and has been a very successful initiative. There are approximately 1,000 people who have started pump therapy to-date. There are three follow up classes: Insulin Pump Mechanics, Insulin Pump Patterns and Insulin Pump Sets. These three programs provide enhanced knowledge and understanding of diabetes management technology. In 2009, we began the Continuous Glucose Sensor Program. Free information sessions are offered by diverse vendors of these products between 1:00-4:00 p.m. on the last Wednesday of each month at OSU CarePoint East.

The pump program requires a referral by a physician from the OSU Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism.
